- Asbestos Removal Control Plan or Work Method Statement
- Disposal Note/Tip docket issued by approved landfill facility
- Control Monitoring Certificates
- Clearance inspection certificates
Failure of the Removalist to have adequate insurance or suitable licence for the work carried out renders the “Persons with Control” or “persons conducting a business or undertaking” (PCBUs) liable for any issues and subject to heavy fines.
Penalties may apply to owners or controllers of buildings who do not have a compliant Asbestos Register and/or fail to manage asbestos safely. Failure to comply with the new WHS & OHS Laws could result in fines of up to $60,000 or six years imprisonment.

Clearance Certification and Clearance Certificates after Asbestos Removal
WHS & OHS Laws require a Clearance Certification for all licensed asbestos removal works.
EAPL have Licensed Asbestos Assessors who can carry out carry out Clearance Visual Inspection and Clearance Air Monitoring following removal of friable asbestos to verify that the Asbestos Work Area is safe for normal use.
Licensed Asbestos Assessors issue a Clearance Certificate before an area is re-occupied.
